Kitchen Unit Calc (kitchenunitcalc.com) is run by AUSSIE-AI LTD, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 17193460). "We" and "us" below mean AUSSIE-AI LTD. This policy explains what happens to information when you use the site.
Your conversions stay on your device
Every converter runs inside your browser. The amounts, units, ingredients and recipe lines you type are not sent to us and are not stored by us. Reloading or closing the page clears them.
Measuring visits
We may use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count page views and check loading speed. It does not set cookies and does not track you across other websites. Cloudflare describes how it handles data at cloudflare.com/privacypolicy.
Advertising
The site shows ads from Google AdSense to cover its running costs.
- Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on a user's prior visits to this website or other websites.
- Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to users based on their visit to this site and/or other sites on the Internet.
- You can opt out of personalised advertising in Google's Ads Settings, and opt out of some other vendors' cookies at aboutads.info.
- Google explains how it uses information from sites that use its services at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.
Visitors in the UK, the European Economic Area and Switzerland are asked for consent through a Google-certified consent message before advertising cookies are used.
Messages you send us
If you use the contact form or email us, we receive your name, email address and message. We use them to reply and to fix anything you report, keep them only as long as that takes, and never sell them or add you to a mailing list.
Hosting
Cloudflare serves the site and processes technical data such as IP addresses to deliver pages and protect against abuse.
Children
The site is a general kitchen reference and is not aimed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. A parent who believes a child has sent us personal information can ask us to delete it through the contact page.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, or to have it corrected or deleted. Send requests through the contact page. You can also complain to your data protection authority; in the UK that is the Information Commissioner's Office.
